Chapati


Chapati (alternatively spelled chapattichappatichapathi, or chappathi), also known as rotisafatishabaati and (in the Maldivesroshi, is an unleavened flatbread from the Indian Subcontinent; and popular staple in IndiaNepalBangladeshPakistan and Sri Lanka.Chapati is made of whole wheat flour known as Atta, salt and water, and is cooked on a tava (flat skillet).

It is a common staple in the Indian subcontinent as well as amongst expatriates from the Indian subcontinent throughout the world. Chapatis were also introduced to other parts of the world by immigrants from the Indian subcontinent, particularly by Indian merchants to Central AsiaSoutheast AsiaEast Africa, and the Caribbean islands.

Chapati can be found almost every indian and punjabi restaurants in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Best place to eat and enjoy Chapati is at Little India, Lebuh Ampang and Bangsar.
