Batu Caves



Lord Murugan Statue standing at 42.7 m (140 ft) high, the world's tallest statue of Murugan, a Hindu deity, is located at Batu Caves, Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. Most convenient way to reach at Batu Caves is via KTM Komuter train from the KL Sentral. You can also reach here via the Bus U6 from Titiwangsa. The easiest way is by taxi but that will set you back at least RM25 from KL Sentral. A must see destination while you are in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. 



CAVE Villa at Batu Caves is a new tourism attraction with a large land area of 50 000 square feet, CAVE Villa is strategically located within the Sri Subramanium Temple premise, more precisely next to the main entrance of the hill temple.

With plenty of attractions such as a huge koi pond, a conceptual restaurant, reptile galore, art galleries and cultural stage, it will definitely be an experience not to be missed. Coupled with interactive elements incorporated, it will offer both education and entertainment to all visitors.



The Ramayana Cave is situated to the extreme left as one faces the sheer wall of the hill. On the way to the Ramayana Cave, there is a 15 m (50 ft) tall statue of Hanuman and a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, devotee and aide of Lord Rama. The consecration ceremony of the temple was held in November 2001.
The Ramayana Cave depicts the story of Rama in a chronicle manner along the irregular walls of the cave.
